Many years ago, I bought this car as a project. After I completed it, I drove it all over the place and in parades and even in the Scottrade Center to bring out the arena football team's cheerleaders. For a couple years I competed in autocross although I was never great at it. It has been a wonderful part of my life, but life has changed. It's time for someone else to love her like I do. It's not a "matching numbers" car which means the engine is not original but instead a crate motor. This makes Corvettes worth substantially less, but it also opens up the car to a different purpose - having fun with aftermarket parts and really enjoying it as a daily driver, not a trailer queen. I was looking for a non-matching numbers car because they are more affordable and also because I wanted to add fun things like racing suspension to it that would devalue a matching numbers car. (If you have invested in a matching numbers car, you don't want to add anything that's not original because it will detract from the investment). Below is the list of what I have on the car, although I'm sure that I will forget some of the things because there are so many. Also, a few random thoughts: The car is a t-top (coupe). I hand painted all of the emblems so they look like new. Paint is Dark Shadow Metallic Grey about 6 years old. Interior is black. Battery is a newer Wal Mart, but their top of the line. Has been on a battery tender. Car runs like a million bucks. Car has historic plates so you never need an inspection or emissions! So, here is what the car has on it: Engine/Drivetrain: 350 crate motor (unknown miles, but estimated 40K), Edelbrock mechanical fuel pump, Edelbrock Street Intake, Hooker Chrome Headers, Hooker Chrome Sidepipes with glasspack Inserts, New Delco Master Cylinder, Mallory Dual Pionts Distributor Converted to Breakerless Ignition, MSD Blaster 2 Coil, Edelbrock 4 Barrel Carb, Rebulit and working Headlight Vacuum System, Holly Air Cleaner (like K&N), New Old Stock Steering Box, Edelbrock Fuel Filter, Muncie 4-Speed Rock Crusher Transmission, New U-Joints on Rear half Shafts, Edelbrock Valve Covers, New Delco Alternator, Mr. Gasket Chrome Alternator Bracket, Stage 8 Header Bolts, Some cool Aeroquip AN Hoses with Anodized Ends. Suspension/Steering/Chassis: Relay Rod Removed and Reconditioned with all new Joints, VBP Adjustable Tie Rods, Gymkhana 7-Leaf Rear Spring, Bilstein Front Shocks, Monroe on Rear, 550lb Coil Springs (not installed, new), All Bushings are replaced with Energy Suspension Polyurethane including Trailing Arm, VBP Adjustable rear Strut Rods, Rebuilt front brake Calipers, entire system cleaned out and DOT5 synthetic fluid added, L-88 Hood w/ chrome hood pins. Wheels/Tires: Cragar SS Wheels (totally sweet on this car), Classic Radial T/A Tires (front are brand new). Interior: New Black cut-pile Carpet, Heat Shield installed, RCI - 4 Point Restraints, Grant GT Steering Wheel, Aftermarket Stereo w/CD Player. Extras that come with the car: Cover, 550lb Front Leaf Springs, Major parts that go into Adding Air Conditioning to the Car (got them in a trade). ADDITIONAL MUNCIE 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION!! I got this in a trade from a guy in the Corvette club. If you break the one you've got, you have an extra!! It's worth over $1K! New Wheel Bearings, New Ball Joints, T-Top Storage Bags.
